A Love Story

Arif first saw Nila on a rainy afternoon at the town library. She was sitting beside the window, reading a book while raindrops touched the glass. Arif wanted to talk to her, but he was too shy. Instead, he quietly sat at the next table and began reading.

The next day, Nila returned the same book to the librarian. She smiled at Arif and said, “You were reading this yesterday, weren’t you?”

Arif smiled nervously. “Yes. It was a good book.”

From that day, they became friends. They talked about their dreams, families, and favorite places. Slowly, friendship turned into love.

One evening, Arif finally gathered courage and said, “Nila, I don’t know when it happened, but you became the most important person in my life.”

Nila looked at him and smiled. “I was waiting for you to say that.”
