41 percent of Brazilians think Neymar should not play in the World Cup. clik here

                                   

The 2026 World Cup is less than a year away. In the meantime, the teams have gradually started to plan their plans ahead of the World Cup. After various dramas, Brazil has appointed experienced coach Carlo Ancelotti as the coach for the World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.


After the arrival of this Italian coach, Neymar's name has repeatedly been discussed. All eyes were on what Ancelotti's plan would be for the injured Neymar. Despite not keeping him in his first team due to fitness reasons, Ancelotti recently urged Neymar to prepare well.


However, even if Ancelotti wants him to, 41 percent of Brazilians do not want Neymar to play in the World Cup. This information has emerged in a survey by 'Datafola', an important public opinion polling company in Brazil.


However, this picture has changed drastically in a survey conducted among those over 60. Of this group, 53 percent are against calling Neymar to the team, and 35 percent are in favor. That means that while young people see Neymar as a key player in Brazil's bid to win a sixth World Cup, older people don't think so. It is thought that injuries, off-field behaviour and recent performances have influenced older people's thinking.
